BioYorkshire has welcomed a recent report by the Northern Powerhouse Partnership, which recommends more needs to be done to build the regions skills and innovation ecosystems to drive global investment in the region. We agree strongly with the recommendation that FDI and innovation can be powered by world-class innovation clusters - such as BioYorkshire - which deliver green growth, news jobs, and improve skills. BioYorkshire will be an incubator for greener, cleaner and new ideas that will power the next generation of innovators in the bioeconomy, creating an attractive investment opportunity for global and national investors and helping to drive economic renewal across Yorkshire and the Humber.
